Pressure Sensors
Refrigerant pressure tells you charge state, metering device behavior, and whether there are internal restrictions. Most monitoring tools don't measure pressure at all. They infer everything from a thermostat across the room, which only sees the symptom hours after the compressor's already stressed.
Direct pressure at four refrigerant points: indoor coil inlet and outlet, plus compressor discharge and condenser liquid line outdoors. Paired with the temperature probes (see next), Irvin calculates live superheat and subcooling: the same math a tech does with gauges, but continuously on every system you service.
